ITB was recently recognised at the inaugural Smarter Travel Awards.

Smarter Travel Workplace / Campus is a National Transport Authority initiative and ITB has been an active partner since 2009. The award recognises the Institute's significant achievements in promoting and implementing sustainable travel measures.

The numbers of staff and students using public transport has increased from 14% to 20% with the introduction of the ITB shuttle bus being a major contributing factor.
