The listing of the Round One minimum points required for entry to ITB courses in September 2014, with the 2013 comparison, where applicable is attached here.

Offers Issued

Round 1 offers were issued from the CAO on Tuesday 19th August for acceptance via CAO until Monday 25th August.

Round 2 offers were issued on Thursday 28th for acceptance via CAO until Wednesday 3rd September. Round 2 offers issued on BN015 Engineering (Common 1st Year), BN016 Business (Common 1st Year) and BN022 Horticulture only.

Round 3 offers issued from the CAO on Thursday 4th September for acceptance via CAO until Wednesday 10th September. The deadline for applications for Round 3 offers was Monday 1st September at 11am. Round 3 offers issued on BN016 Business (Common 1st Year) and BN022 Horticulture only.

Previously published points in an earlier round of offers should not be taken as an indication of the points required for entry to Available Places/Vacant Places.

Minimum entry requirements

If you have failed Mathematics or English you do not meet the minimum entry requirements. However a grade E in Leaving Certificate Mathematics at Higher Level counts as a subject towards the five passes for certain courses at ITB (please refer to the minimum entry requirements specific to each course you have applied). The Mathematics minimum entry requirement for Engineering and Computing courses is a Grade D3 (Ordinary Level).

Registration and Induction

If you have received an offer from ITB in Round 1 or Round 2 you should have received your registration pack. Registration packs for Round 3 will be posted out to you by 8th September. Your registration pack will include the following important information:

a. how to register online
b. how to pay your fees
c. student induction schedule

Student induction and registration will take place from Tuesday 9th September to Friday 12th September on campus. Attendance is compulsory.

If you have received notification that you will receive a Grant for the academic year 2014/2015, you are exempt from paying the Student Contribution fee of 2,750 Euros.
If you are not eligible for a grant, the Student Contribution fee maybe paid in two installments (i.e. first installment by date of registration in September 2014 and second installment by 31st January 2015).
