ITB's recently ran its "Are You Pink or Purple - Young Women in Technology" project with local female second level students. The project aims to create awareness about technology among female students. The project involved clinics in ITB followed by field trips to PayPal & Ebay which gave students an insight into what goes on in the real world. |
The project had students from Coolmine Community School & St. Dominic's in Cabra. This Dormant Account project is the remit of the Access Office at ITB and is funded by the Higher Education Authority. The Access Office at ITB is responsible for coordinating and developing the Institute's Access Programme and for implementing policies to ensure that access to third level education becomes a reality for students who are currently under represented at third level. |
